Manchester United have finally confirmed the signing of England international Jadon Sancho.
An agreement in principle is in place to buy him from Borussia Dortmund.
It is subject to a medical, which will take place when England’s involvement in the European Championship ends.
His arrival will add much-needed dynamism out wide and should hopefully solve United’s right-wing headache.
Sancho is United’s first major signing of the transfer window.
United’s announcement didn’t state how long Sancho’s contract would be, but the Telegraph claim it’ll be five years with the option of an extra one.
And Marcus Rashford wasted no time in welcoming his England teammate to the club.
The pair of course away on international duty and Rashford ‘leaked’ the signing earlier this week.
It won’t be long before we hear from Sancho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about the deal.
Solskjaer and United have remained patient and the club have finally got their man.
Sancho is an absolutely thrilling signing; someone who will be an England international for the next decade and adds a new dimension to the frontline.
His link-up with Rashford could be mouth-watering next season and will help Sancho settle at the club too.
