A Manchester United star has been blasted for hesitating over a potential move away from Old Trafford and signing for a heavyweight European club this summer.
Ruben Amorim has been able to improve key positions in his Manchester United side this summer after the end of their disappointing 2024-25 Premier League season.
The 40-year-old United manager has added an emerging prospect to his United first-team squad after the arrival of Paraguayan wonderkid Diego Leon at Old Trafford.
However, Amorim has been able to recruit tried-and-tested experience to his ranks after United splashed out on the signings of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
The former Sporting CP head coach’s new-look attack at Old Trafford has now seen another high-profile acquisition after United signed Benjamin Sesko last week.

AC Milan legend Arrigo Sacchi puts Rasmus Hojlund on blast amid the Serie A club’s transfer interest in the Man Utd striker
Rasmus Hojlund has been linked with AC Milan this summer and the Manchester United striker has also attracted interest from Serie A sides Inter Milan and Roma.
The 22-year-old struggling Danish forward’s long-term future at the Premier League club has been plunged into doubt after Benjamin Sesko’s arrival at United.
Rasmus Hojlund has disappointed in the frontline over his two seasons at Old Trafford and it is believed that the Red Devils could now offload him this summer.
Iconic former AC Milan manager Arrigo Sacchi has now ruthlessly slammed the Denmark international’s “tantrum” behaviour after not moving to the San Siro.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: “We’re not talking about [Marco] van Basten, nor are we talking about one of the strongest centre-forwards in Europe at the moment.
“He’s a decent player, nothing more. I understand the desire of the Rossoneri directors, given that there is a shortage of strikers.
“But it has to be one that wants to come to Italy, one that doesn’t throw a tantrum.”
Baffled Arrigo Sacchi drops a clear-cut message to Man Utd star Rasmus Hojlund about AC Milan
Rasmus Hojlund is under contract with United until 2028 and the ex-Atalanta man had previously expressed his desire to remain at Old Trafford for the new season.
However, United’s signing of former Newcastle target Sesko from RB Leipzig could now see Hojlund’s first-team minutes limited under Ruben Amorim next season.
Arrigo Sacchi hailed his former side as a “mystical name” and the 79-year-old Italian believed that Hojlund shouldn’t think twice about a summer transfer to AC Milan.
“I don’t understand his choice,” he continued.
“If Milan calls you, you pack your bags and get on the first plane to Malpensa. Milan, in the world of football, is a mystical name.
“I, along with all the players who are brought in, would take a tour of the trophy room so that we understand where we have come.
“Of course, Manchester United is also a legendary team. But on the one hand, there is a club, Milan, which is offering you a permanent job, and on the other hand, there is a club that is doing everything to try and sell you. What would you choose?”
Roma are believed to be interested in signing Hojlund for an initial loan fee with an option to buy next summer, with United wanting around £40m for the Danish striker.
