Manchester United have sent several players out on loan already this summer and the list is about to grow.

Jason Wilcox is having a very busy summer in charge of Manchester United, both in terms of first-team signings and also youth.

Having wrapped up big money signings of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha this summer, United’s first team squad is looking stronger than it did after losing to Tottenham in Bilbao.

While the incomings this summer are vital, there is also plenty of work being put into sending several players out on loan.

Summer signing Enzo Kana-Biyik has joined Lausanne on loan for the season where he will hopefully develop into a player capable of playing a role next summer.

United have also sent Dan Gore on loan, as he returned to Rotherham having made an impression there last season despite his injuries.

Jack Moorhouse set to join Leyton Orient on loan

There could yet be double-digit loans for United to complete this summer with numerous youngsters seeking first-team football.

However, no youngster needs a loan more than Jack Moorhouse who spent much of last season on the cusp of first team football.

Now, United in Focus understands that Jack Moorhouse is set to depart on a loan this summer.

United in Focus transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey has confirmed this on Wednesday, revealing that Moorhouse is set to join Leyton Orient on a year long season from United.

There was a lot of interest in the 19-year-old, however United in Focus understands that Orient’s deciding factor was Richie Wellens, former United academy talent who is now renowned for developing youth.

Moorhouse will also link up with former United academy graduate Demetri Mitchell at Orient, so the United prospect will have a good support system here.

In addition, BBC Sport’s Simon Stone has added that Moorhouse is set to join Orient, with Wellens’ reputation for developing young players such as Jamie Donley from Tottenham last season well known.

Jonny Evans has sent Jack Moorhouse on the perfect loan this summer

Jonny Evans was appointed loan manager at United this summer and has already been very busy in helping find loan moves for some talented academy players who aren’t in Amorim’s plans.

The five loanees sent away so far this summer are all at clubs where they should get plenty of football and chances to prove their value in senior football.

Next will be Moorhouse, while James Scanlon, Ethan Wheatley, Radek Vitek and Harry Amass are all expected to follow suit shortly.

We will be sure to keep a close eye on all of these talents next season.
