Amid Manchester United’s new injury crisis, Ruben Amorim will have to call on some youngsters to step into the squad for the Premier League fixture against Spurs – with Kone seemingly included.
The young midfielder took to his Instagram story to share a pre-match infographic of himself available for the Spurs clash. Fabrizio Romano also confirmed his inclusion.

Sekou Kone is a professional football player for Manchester United.
Kone became a transfer target for Manchester United after impressing the Red Devils in Mali with Guidars FC.
He has also previously trained at the JMG Academy formed by Jean-Marc Guillou in 2002 to help develop emerging prospects including those in Mali since 2006.
Signing for Manchester United marked Kone’s first adventure in European football, having so far only played in Mali.
He arrived with experiences from international action after playing with Mali at the Under-17 level on 12 occasions since making his debut in May 2023.
Since his arrival at Manchester United, aside from an early injury, Kone has been a regular for United’s academy sides, most notably the under-21s.

But Manchester United believe Sekou has a high ceiling and when they signed him, beat all rival interest for a deal.
Fussball News has previously listed Crystal Palace, Wolves, RB Salzburg and unnamed French clubs among Kone’s further suitors with Guidars FC asking for €1.5m-2m (£1-1.5m).
Kone attracted most of the interest in his transfer by excelling at the Under-17 World Cup in December 2023. He was the lynchpin of the Mali side which reached the semi-finals before losing to France. The midfielder produced a near-perfect package from the core of his team.
Mali witnessed Kone combine tackling proficiency with the ability to move the ball and add pace to their plans. He also showed solid anticipation to read the game and while Kone left without a goal, the teenager penned two assists – including one in the third-place play-off.
Kone is also a predominantly right-footed player who Manchester United will hope can take his ability to mix tackling and intercepting the ball with creating goalscoring chances to their academy.
According to The Athletic, Manchester United saw Kone as a player with high potential, but the club were aware of the huge cultural change he would endure, so the initial plan, as followed was to integrate him nto the academy setup.
