Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has seen a significant change to his rating in EA Sports FC 25 after his overall from the upcoming title was ‘leaked’ online.
Marcus Rashford was in the form of his life in Erik ten Hag’s debut season after he scored 30 times in 56 appearances across all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign.
However, the 26-year-old Manchester United forward’s form fell off a cliff last season and Rashford struggled with consistency in a lacklustre 2023-24 campaign.
Rashford only found the back of the net eight times in 43 appearances across all competitions, with the United star receiving heavy criticism over his form.
Erik ten Hag has backed Rashford to turn things around in the current season, with the United player missing Euro 2024 in Germany this summer.
Former England manager Gareth Southgate snubbed Rashford from his Three Lions squad for this summer’s Euros after his disappointing 2023-24 season.
Rashford has struggled to make his mark in the current campaign, with the England star failing to score or assist in his first three matches across all competitions.
Rashford’s FC 25 rating
According to EA’s official website, Marcus Rashford’s EA Sports FC 24 base rating is 85 and the Manchester United star has three-star weak foot and five-star skills.
Rashford’s 85 overall from EA FC 24 has the United player with 90 pace, 86 shooting, 78 passing, 84 dribbling, 42 defending and 74 physical.
However, X user Donk has now revealed that the Three Lions international has dropped from an 85 rating to 81 in EA Sports FC 25.
Rashford’s 81 rating on EA FC 25 has 89 pace, 83 shooting, 76 passing, 82 dribbling, 33 defending and 64 physical.
The England and United star has seen a whopping 10-point drop in his physical rating alone for the forthcoming EA FC 25.
Ten Hag backs Rashford this season
Rashford failed to convert pivotal chances for United in the penalty shootout defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield earlier this month.
The United player has disappointed in the opening two Premier League matches of the season, with Rashford hooked off in the second half of the Brighton defeat.
Following the Community Shield defeat at Wembley, Erik ten Hag insisted that Rashford did not lack confidence and that he was “very pleased” with him.
“No, I think he was several times in very good positions, I am very pleased he is getting in those positions,” he said at the time.
“He needs to keep going and keep making those movements and he will score goals. He is experienced enough to deal with this.
“Once he scores one, the goals will come.”
