Manchester United are quickly setting their house in order ahead of the next season, and another extension is on the cards.
Perhaps the most important decision of the summer was made before the end of the season, when Michael Carrick was given the permanent manager job.
Along with Carrick, all of his staff were retained, which meant Travis Binnion, Jonny Evans, Jonathan Woodgate, and Steve Holland stayed as well.
Another extension is now set to happen as Man Utd finalise their team for next season across all levels.

Have you been impressed with Michael Carrick’s coaching staff?
Would you keep them all if he becomes permanent?🤔
Man Utd in talks for Adam Lawrence extension
The natural byproduct of Binnion moving up to the first team was a vacancy left by him as the Man Utd U21s manager.
United turned back the clock to fill it, bringing Adam Lawrence back to Carrington less than a year after he left for Newcastle.
Lawrence was highly rated among the Man Utd coaching staff, but he didn’t thrive at Newcastle, as sometimes the club just doesn’t match.
He picked up from where he left off at United, guiding a young team into two finals, surpassing expectations even though they lost both.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Lawrence is set to be rewarded for his efforts by receiving an extension offer to stay at Old Trafford.
Carrick says Top 5 isn’t enough. Honestly, based on his run, do you think we are a genuine Title Contender for next season?
The talks aren’t expected to be difficult, with Lawrence also keen on joining, and that would finalise the full structure at every academy level.
Darren Fletcher is already doing a fine job with the U18s, and with Lawrence now set for a permanent U21s role, the pipeline to the first team is clear.
It also cements a deserved promotion to the first-team environment for Binnion, who has been praised by many in the Man Utd squad for the effect his coaching has had.
The structure is looking good now, with champions for youth prospects handling the teams at every level, all of whom are rooted in the club’s heritage.
It’s an exciting time to be a United academy player.
