The silky attacker went on loan at Cheltenham Town until the end of the season, with the move being his first experience of senior professional football.
Finally, on his fifth appearance for the League Two side, he managed a career-first in a blistering display of wing play.

Ethan Williams for Cheltenham vs Barrow
Williams had made four appearances for Cheltenham before earning his first start for the club against Barrow in a middle-of-the-table clash.
Williams started on the left wing, playing as the traditional inverted winger to come inside on his stronger right foot.
He played 84 minutes and managed his first-ever goal contribution in senior football, assisting Ashley Hay’s winner in the 76th minute to complete the 3-2 comeback from 0-2 down at one point.
Williams showed versatility with the assist, finding himself on the right after a set-piece and crossing in the danger zone that left Hay with an easy job to do.
He created a total of two chances, having 45 touches of the ball and doing his bit defensively with two recoveries and an interception.
Williams can be next seen in action against Newport County on February 22.
Williams sends message after first assist
After the game, Williams went on Instagram and celebrated a hat-trick of good things – his first start, first assist, and a rejuvenating three points via a memorable comeback.
Williams wrote: “First start, first assist, 3 points”, with tick emojis in front of each accompanied by a beaming emoji.
Fellow Man Utd loanee Ethan Wheatley responded “Fairssss” while Finley McAllister wrote, “It’s what he does.” Sam Mather called him “top” as Habeeb Ogunneye wrote, “Good u”.
On the loan front for other players, Jack Kingdon played 16 minutes for Rochdale on his league debut while Wheatley went three games without a goal with another blank in a 57-minute appearance for Walsall.
