Manchester United have released the minutes from the first Fans’ Forum of the 2025/26 season.
On Wednesday, Manchester United released a 31-page document revealing the minutes from the recent meeting with 19 Fans’ Forum representatives, with three present in a virtual capacity.
It’s an opportunity for members of the Fans’ Forum to raise questions that concern the supporters they represent.
Some of the topics discussed included Old Trafford regeneration, NFC tickets, away games, and music played on matchday.
United were also thankful towards The Red Army (TRA) and their members for creating a brilliant atmosphere with the use of flags in the Stretford End this season.
The club officials present included Toby Craig, Gary Hemingway, Rick McGagh, Sam Kelleher, Andrew Ward and Nicola Wellington.

Man Utd respond to ‘Football Club’ request from fans for crest
One aspect of the club that many United fans would welcome a change in is the football crest.
It has been a cause of annoyance for fans ever since the words ‘Football Club’ were removed back in 1998.
Joel Glazer previously stated that there were no plans to change the club crest after describing it as a ‘complex and very challenging process’ given the rights linked to it.
Those comments were reiterated by club four years on, when they issued their latest response to requests to change the club crest. This has significance because it’s the first time they’ve made their stance clear since Sir Jim Ratcliffe became co-owner.
However, United have promised to keep it under review due to the strong feelings stressed by fellow fans over the years.
United stated the following: “As we have said in the past, the Manchester United crest has changed on numerous occasions through the club’s history and the iteration including the words ‘football club’ only came into use in the 1960s. The words were removed in 1998 to make the crest simpler. We believe that Manchester United is uniquely recognisable the world over as a football club without the need to spell this out. However, we understand the strong feelings that exist on this issue and will keep it under review.”
What did Man Utd say about their new stadium project?
United fans have only seen conceptual designs of the new stadium project being driven by Ratcliffe, which will eventually see the team move away from Old Trafford.
It was recently announced that the Stretford End would get a safe standing expansion, despite plans in place to move away from the iconic football stadium.
It’s another sword to take for the many traditionalists out there – all in the name of commercial growth, too.
One Fans’ Forum member asked for an update on the new stadium project and if the club had given to go ahead with Foster + Partners’ plan.
United responded: “We remain excited by the vision set out by Foster + Partners for a new stadium at the heart of a wider regeneration of the Old Trafford area.
“We always said this was a conceptual design, with more detailed architectural work to follow. While we remain keen to advance as quickly as possible, the timetable is subject to progress on land assembly and financing, which depends on key stakeholders working together.”
