Manchester United fans have made their feelings perfectly clear on Christian Eriksen after the Denmark midfielder’s latest performance against Switzerland on Tuesday.
Christian Eriksen was left struggling for first-team minutes in the 2023-24 campaign after the emergence of Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo at Old Trafford.
The 32-year-old Danish midfielder made 28 appearances across all competitions last season and scored once and registered three assists for United last season.
Eriksen, who missed several matches last season due to a knee injury, was linked with an exit from United in the summer after dropping down the pecking order.
However, the United star remained at Old Trafford for the 2024-25 campaign and has seen a remarkable turnaround in form under manager Erik ten Hag.

Man Utd star Eriksen shines for Denmark
Christian Eriksen has made eight appearances across all competitions for Manchester United this season and has already scored three times and registered three assists.
The United star has fought for his place in the first-team squad and Erik ten Hag has turned to Eriksen after a resurgence in form in the 2024-25 campaign.
Eriksen’s current run of form has carried over to the October international break, with the Dane making an impact against Switzerland in the Nations League.
He played 73 minutes in the 1-0 defeat to Spain on Saturday at the Estadio Nueva Condomina before returning to the starting XI for the Switzerland clash.
Eriksen played the full 90 minutes in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw against Switzerland and the United star scored and picked up an assist in the Nations League contest.
Man Utd fans react to Eriksen vs Switzerland
United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, praised Eriksen’s current run of form and superb performance against Switzerland at the Kybunpark.
Red Devils supporters spotlighted the “sensational” turnaround that he has had so far, while other fans called for him to play as the No 10 for United.
“I think this current Eriksen is the best version of Eriksen since joining Manchester United,” one fan said.
Someone else added: “Comeback has been sensational.”
“He should play as the [No] 10 against Brentford,” a third wrote.
Another argued: “Watch ETH [Erik ten Hag] play Bruno Fernandes ahead of him. It’s obvious to everyone that [his] form is back.”
“He should never be dropped again. Drop Bruno instead,” somebody else tweeted.
While a sixth posted: “Most important player for us this season.”
And a seven X user suggested: “Needs more [of an] opportunity to play as a [No] 10.”
Another simply said: “Just remember there were accounts criticizing ETH for playing Ericksen. He keeps proving himself.”
