Manchester United are busy preparing to begin their 2025 pre-season tour this summer.
Ruben Amorim welcomed his squad back to Carrington earlier this week, and then on Thursday, a further eight players joined pre-season training.
New summer signing Matheus Cunha is already impressing in training, and fans will only have to wait a matter of days before seeing him in action for the first time.
United’s 2025 pre-season tour begins with a trip to Sweden where the Red Devils will face Leeds United on July 19.
Then, Amorim and his squad will jet off to the United States to participate in the Premier League Summer Series.

Where Man United will be playing in pre-season
United’s 2025 tour consists of five different games, although the final friendly of the summer is back at Old Trafford to face Fiorentina on August 9.
As already mentioned, United will face fierce rivals Leeds in Stockholm at the Friends Arena, which has a capacity of 50,000.
After that, United will begin their three-game run of friendlies in the United States, starting with a match against West Ham at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The stadium has a capacity of 82,500, making it bigger than Old Trafford.
The MetLife Stadium recently hosted Paris Saint-Germain vs Real Madrid in the Fifa Club World Cup.
| Fixture | Date | Capacity |
| Man United vs Leeds United | July 19 | Friends Arena (50,000) |
| Man United vs West Ham | July 27 | MetLife Stadium (82,500) |
| Man United vs Bournemouth | July 31 | Soldier Field (62,500) |
| Man United vs Everton | August 3 | Mercedes-Benz Stadium (71,000) |
United will then head to Soldier Field to face Bournemouth. The home of MLS side Chicago Fire has a capacity of 62,500.
The final match in the US sees United face Everton at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Both Premier League clubs are looking to move into new stadiums themselves, and they will go head-to-head in the 71,000-seater venue in early August.
Man United broke attendance record in United States
The Red Devils have been regular visitors to the United States in recent years, and they always attract a huge audience across the pond.
Amorim has pointed out the importance of United connecting with their global fanbase this summer, having already travelled on the post-season tour of Asia.
Back in 2014, United broke the attendance record for a soccer game in the United States when 109,000 fans attended a pre-season friendly against Real Madrid.
The match was held at Michigan Stadium, and United won 3-1 against the Spanish giants in front of a packed-out crowd.
United have no hope of getting close to their attendance record this summer, but players will have a huge following Stateside as they compete in the Summer Series.
