Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has impressed over the past two months, now he’s been praised by Paul Merson.
After a slow start following his summer move, Rasmus Hojlund has exploded into life since Christmas. He now has clinically scored six goals in his last seven games and looks the part up top for Manchester United.
It’s no coincidence that his scoring has led to improved results and a steady rise towards the top five.
Hojlund has truly established himself as a star at Old Trafford and now ahead of a trip to face Luton Town in which Hojlund will look to continue his scoring streak, Paul Merson has heaped praise onto him.

Paul Merson lauds Rasmus Hojlund
Writing on his weekly predictions column for SportsKeeda, Merson singled out Hojlund for praise ahead of the game.
“I’m a huge Hojlund [fan] and genuinely believe he’s a superstar in the making”, Merson explained.
“He’s just 21 but looks like a man already, I really like how he’s come into his own since the turn of the year after what was a tough start to life at a new club. There isn’t much he can’t do and I can only see him getting better!”
The fact that Merson has realised that Hojlund can pretty much do it all as a forward is nice to see, after he got quite a bit of stick early in his United career, he’s now being praised for all of his talents.
Hojlund has shown he can score any kind of goal for Manchester United
The most impressive thing about Hojlund’s recent goalscoring has been that he’s scored goals of all kinds, which is part of Merson’s praise for him.
He’s scored instinctive goals, as seen against Aston Villa on two occasions, although these goals were also vastly different.
He has also scored scrappy goals such as against Wolves where it was basically bundeled over the line.
Lastly he’s scored some proper classy goals, such as his thunderous finish against Spurs and his solo goal against West Ham.
