Manchester United youngster Radek Vitek is a towering presence on the pitch and he is getting himself noticed out on loan too.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper has enjoyed a dream start on loan at League Two side Accrington Stanley, with two man of the match awards in his first two games.

Radek Vitek has two clean sheets, and he was described as ‘unbelievable’ by his opposition manager at the weekend.

And needless to say, Accrington are very happy with the young loanee too.

Radek Vitek shines on loan

The Mail laud Radek Vitek for being an ‘instant hit’ at his loan side, making a big impression.

It is reported Accrington Stanley staff are ‘taken aback’ at the youngster’s composure, ever since he first walked into the dressing room.

Vitek’s side are aiming to go on a run and make the League Two play-offs, and have four points from a possible six from his first two matches.

While they rank 11th currently, the division is so tight that Vitek’s side are just two points outside the play-off spots.

Radek Vitek a real star of the future

The challenge now for the young goalkeeper is to keep a steady head. It only takes one error for doubt among the fans to creep in, and his own confidence to potentially take a knock.

Right now it is all going well for Vitek, but the life of a footballer is rarely straightforward, as Manchester United number one Andre Onana would corroborate.

Vitek has the potential to go on and succeed Onana in Manchester United’s goal, but it could be a long journey for him to get there.

He is a star of the future, only. He has to successfully negotiate the journey to the top and the potential pitfalls, before he becomes a star in his own right – but so far, so good for the FA Youth Cup winner.
