Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has reacted to the club’s FA Cup final defeat.
Lisandro Martinez says Manchester United will bounce back stronger after the final loss against City.
United were beaten 2-1 in an agonising loss, with Bruno Fernandes scoring for the Red Devils.
Martinez missed the game due to a metatarsal injury sustained in April against Sevilla.

Lisandro Martinez was at Wembley with the squad on Saturday, seeing the side slip to a narrow loss.
His last cup final at the stadium was a happier affair, starting in a 2-0 win over Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.
While Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof kept Erling Haaland quiet, Martinez is a player who you always want in the starting XI. Erik ten Hag‘s side could have done with some of his aggression at Wembley.
Rather than celebrating after the game, Martinez was left consoling his teammates.
He sent a message out on Sunday night expressing how proud he was of the players.
Martinez wrote on Instagram: “It’s all part of the process, we keep our heads up and are proud because this group gave their all until the last second.
“I’m certain that the good and positive thing about all of this is that we’ll come back stronger!
“I finish my first season at this amazing club feeling really fortunate and happy to be part of the United family. ❤️👹
“Thank you very much to everyone and see you soon!”
United fans have taken to Martinez since his arrival last summer from Ajax. His combative displays have seen him quickly prove his doubters wrong.
As he points out, it has been a promising first season. Martinez played 45 games for the club before picking up his untimely injury.
He is expected to be back in time for pre-season, and we already look forward to seeing him play again. It’s been too long.
