Martinez made reference to his goal at The Emirates, his first in a Manchester United shirt.
Writing on Instagram, he said: “It was not the end we wanted, but definitely no time to feel too down. Heads up and we go again together for the next one, come on United!!!
“Nice to score my first goal, thanks once again for the fantastic away support!”

He said: “We have to go tomorrow and change. We have to go for the next one.”
Asked to reflect on what went wrong against Arsenal, he rued the team’s lapses in concentration, commenting: “I think we can win the game today. But this is about details. If you are not [focused on] every detail, you can’t win.
“We have to be strong, and we have to learn also from every experience. [It] cannot happen again, for sure it cannot happen again.
“We have to be really focused on the game and we have to kill the game. We have to win.”
