Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez was thrilled with the team’s FA Cup semi-final win.
Manchester United were without three regular centre-backs for the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton. Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane were out injured, and Harry Maguire suspended.
And despite all that, the team were able to keep a clean sheet over 120 minutes, before winning 7-6 on penalties.

Lisandro Martinez reacts
Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez had to watch the game at Wembley from home and he was thrilled to see the team triumph.
‘The Butcher’ posted an image on Instagram Stories after full-time, celebrating the penalty shootout win.

Lisandro Martinez is out with a broken metatarsal which is estimated to keep him out of action for the rest of the season.
The FA Cup final takes place on June 3, a late date due to the World Cup, and it is just us speculating here, but there is a chance a few of United’s injured players can return, like Alejandro Garnacho and Raphael Varane.
Lisandro Martinez might have a chance. But perhaps I’m just being overly optimistic. You do know if there is any way he can play, the Argentine will do everything possible.
