Another day, another player on his way out of Manchester United.
This week alone has seen Radek Vitek move to Austria with Blau-Weiss Linz while Facundo Pellistri has sealed his £5 million move to Panathinaikos.
Will Fish, meanwhile, is expected to join Cardiff City in the Championship.
As of Thursday afternoon, Maxi Oyedele is also a Manchester United player no longer.
Despite an impressive season – he set up Joe Hugill’s thumping finish in the 2-0 win over Rangers in Scotland – the Red Devils accepted an offer that sees the Poland Under 21 midfielder move to the country he represents on the international stage.
Oyedele said his goodbyes to Man United in an emotional Instagram post earlier in the day. Once of Burnley, the Salford-born teenager spent over a decade at the Old Trafford outfit but – like with Pellistri – now moves abroad in pursuit of regular first-team football.

Maxi Oyedele swaps Manchester United for Legia Warsaw
Legia Warsaw have now confirmed that Oyedele has signed a contract at the Polish Army Stadium until the summer of 2027. The former Forest Green Rovers loanee will wear the number six shirt with the Ekstraklasa outfit.
“I feel like I was supposed to join Legia for a long time, so I’m glad this transfer has come to fruition,” Oyedele says, via Sportowe Fakty. “I’m very excited about playing on this pitch.
“Of course, I’m aware of what a great club Legia is. I want to win the championship with the club and be part of this team. For me, it’s a huge chance to earn my name.
“When I came here, I had a talk with the coach. He presented me with a detailed and extensive plan (of how they are going to use me).”
Legia have won the Polish top-flight 15 times, most recently in 2021.
Goncalo Feio’s side finished third last term. And the signing of one of Man United’s most talented Under 21 players represents a real statement of intent for a side with genuine title ambitions.
Jacek Zielinski, Legia’s sporting director, is delighted by the arrival, feeling that his club have just snapped up a midfielder capable of playing at a very high level should he live up to his obvious promise.
“He has incredible potential, and we want to create conditions for him to have a chance to prove his scale,” Zielinski says.
“The competition in the midfield is strong. I think that Maxi – with his technical skills, physical condition and tactical sense – will not be in a lost position amidst this competition.
“(The young players) are definitely our future. Coach Feio’s team pays great attention to their individual progress.
“That is why we decided to acquire Maxi.”
Youngster follows Facundo Pellistri out of Old Trafford
Oyedele, born in England to a Polish mother and a Nigerian father, was a regular fixture for Man United at youth level.
The teenager spoke about his admiration for Carrington graduates Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho over the summer but, thanks to the emergence of fellow midfielder Toby Collyer, first-team opportunities under Erik ten Hag were likely to be hard to come by.
“My time at Manchester United has finally come to end. I want to say thank you to the only club I’ve ever known,” Oyedele says in his goodbye message.
“Honoured to say I’ve been at the club for 12 years and had some unbelievable experiences with some amazing teammates. Thank you to all the coaches, staff and the fans, I will never forget the memories I have made at this club. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best as I leave ready to start the next chapter of my career. This club will always be my home and once again thank you.
“Once a red, always a red.”
