Manchester United are not going through the finest spell at the moment – but one thing is for certain, the future is bright.

Manchester United boast some fantastic young talent. The likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Willy Kambwala have all broken through to the first-team squad recently, and have all massively impressed.

Then you have academy prospects who are budding through. Dan Gore, Joe Hugill and Isak Hansen-Aaroen are our picks of the bunch.

But, it’s safe to say no one has impressed more than Mainoo – who has been immense since his introduction back into the starting XI.

The young English talent has been a regular in Erik ten Hag‘s setup since his reintroduction against Liverpool, although he made his debut back at the beginning of 2023.

Mainoo’s phenomenal performances have left many wondering what his price tag would now be – which has been ‘revealed’.

CIES Football Observatory presents players across the world with their ‘ estimated transfer value’ – to which Manchester United’s have been revealed. Mainoo is listed on there with his value as €10m (£8.6m).

Bear in mind, this isn’t actually what United would sell him for, just an estimate considering the amount of games he’s played.

As he didn’t cost a penny, this is a meteoric rise of £8.6m for Manchester United. Not bad considering he has only actually played under ten games. He’s now level-pegging with a fellow wonderkid.

Amad Diallo Manchester United price tag plummets…

It seems a long time ago since Manchester United signed Amad Diallo. He still hasn’t made a lasting impact on the club.

This is down to numerous loan spells away from Old Trafford – and an injury, but he appears to be coming back, with Ten Hag excited by the United attacker.

According to the same report – they suggest Amad’s price tag is also €10m (£8.6m). United secured the Ivorian’s signature for £37m. This means a projected loss of £28.4m.

The best is yet to come from Amad. We should see this figure increase the next time the report rolls around.
