A third-place finish in the Premier League table is more than most Manchester United fans would have dreamed of at the start of the season.

Man United did not lose back-to-back matches in 2025/26

Despite it being a season of change, with three different head coaches, United managed an impressive level of consistency in the Premier League.

The Red Devils were actually the only Premier League side that didn’t lose back-to-back matches all season.

It was the first time United achieved the feat since the 2017/18 season under Jose Mourinho.

United finished second under Mourinho in that season, ending on 81 points.

It shows United’s ability to bounce back from defeat, ensuring they pick up points in their next league fixture.
