Manchester United’s match-up with Bodo/Glimt presents a dream opportunity for the Norwegian club’s players to star at the Theatre of Dreams.
The excitement and determination on display from the FC Twente players earlier this season serves a warning to Manchester United when Bodo/Glimt come to visit.
The chance to play at Old Trafford is a dream come true. United have to be especially cautious of dangerman Jens Petter Hauge, who is a player the Red Devils checked in on back in 2020.

Jens Petter Hauge was linked to United
Back in 2020, Dagbladet reported Manchester United dispatched senior scout Tommy Møller Nielsen to watch Hauge in action.
Hauge went on to sign with AC Milan, and despite scoring in the Champions League against Celtic, he failed to establish himself as a regular starter.
He signed with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022, but earlier this season he signed on loan back with Bodo/Glimt, where at 24, he has got his career back on track.
Hauge has contributed 20 goals/assists this season, nine goals and 11 assists, which included a brace in a Europa League win over Porto.
While the winger only ever scored five goals for AC Milan, he has managed to net 46 goals in 158 games for Bodo/Glimt and his confidence has been restored by his move to his former club.
Bodo/Glimt players to watch
Here is a look at three more Bodo/Glimt players to watch in the upcoming clash…
Kasper Hogh: Bodo/Glimt’s top goalscorer Kasper Hogh has netted 13 goals this season. The former Denmark youth international would love to upstage Rasmus Hojlund.
Philip Zinckernagel: The only member of the Bodo/Glimt squad to play at Old Trafford before. The winger did so with Watford in 2021 in the FA Cup – this time he gets to play in front of supporters.
Patrick Berg: Midfielder Patrick Berg has contributed nine goals from midfield this season and played 40 games in all competitions. The 26-year-old has earned this chance to shine.
