Jadon Sancho produced one of the best 45 minutes he has played in a Manchester United shirt after an impressive display against Leicester.
Sancho created three goalscoring chances after coming off the bench, scoring United’s third goal.
He looked incredibly happy celebrating his goal, and insisted he is already looking ahead to upcoming games against Barcelona and Newcastle.
Sancho wrote on Instagram: “Big team performance! Happy to get on the scoresheet, but the focus switches to the big week ahead.”

Sancho praised
Sancho was praised on a response to his Instagram page by teammate Bruno Fernandes, who supplied the assist for the goal.
Fernandes wrote: “Step by step you getting there again 💪🏼”
Sancho had responded via Instagram stories, telling Fernandes: “I owe you an assist.”
Erik ten Hag agrees with Fernandes
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag discussed Sancho in his post-game interview, and also expressed his view that there is a lot more to come from him.
Ten Hag told the club website: “He’s in the right direction, but I think he doesn’t achieve in this moment his limits. [There is] a lot of space for improvement with him.
“Now already he is on a high level and I’m sure when he keeps especially the joy of football, then it will really improve his performance and today you see when he’s coming on in the midfield position, [he makes] great runs, great passes.”
Ten Hag added that he was also pleased with Sancho’s defensive work, a trait which often goes unseen, and requires some extra adjustment when he plays a central role.
This goal sets Sancho up nicely for an important week. While teammate Marcus Rashford is rightly dominating the headlines, Sancho might just steal some.
