Former Manchester United stars Rasmus Hojlund and Scott McTominay played key roles as Napoli beat Juventus to continue their title charge.
While Manchester United are fighting to get back into the top half of the Premier League table, loanee Rasmus Hojlund and academy graduate Scott McTominay are leading a title charge in Italy.
Hojlund has been on a goal drought for Napoli recently, but he bounced back in style on Sunday afternoon by scoring a brace in a 2-1 win over rivals Juventus.

Hojlund scored either side of Kenan Yildiz’s goal to give Napoli a crucial win, and his performance was hailed by Italian media after the full-time whistle.
McTominay has transformed after leaving United, and he also continued his hot streak of form.

Italian outlet Corriere Della Sera gave Hojlund a match-high rating of 8/10 for his display at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
They added: “Prince of Denmark: cuts and deflects like a centre-forward in his prime; repeats with a comfortable header. He adds lay-offs and a great job out of possession. Enough to erase any concern about being a great striker.”

In their ratings, McTominay got a 6.5 but was nicknamed ‘Braveheart’ for his efforts.
“He can be a catapult in the middle of the pitch and a rock on runs into the box. He comes close to hitting the target twice,” they added.
Il Mattino praised McTominay for his ‘rock solid’ attitude, playing through an injury to help Napoli secure an important three points.
Rasmus Hojlund has already matched 2024/25 record
Hojlund faced intense scrutiny last season for his lack of output as United’s main striker.
Despite Hojlund wanting to stay at United, Ineos made the ruthless decision to move on from the Dane and replace him with Benjamin Sesko.
However, Hojlund is showing major signs of improvement playing under Antonio Conte at Napoli.

His two goals against Juventus mean Hojlund has already matched his tally from 2024/25 when he scored four in the entire Premier League campaign.
With Napoli chasing another Serie A title, Hojlund can expect to add plenty more goals before the end of the season.
