Manchester United’s pre-season campaign continues this week as Ruben Amorim prepares to face Bournemouth and Everton.

Manchester United beat West Ham United in the early hours of Sunday morning, with Bruno Fernandes bagging a brace.

United’s pre-season tour of the United States now moves on to Chicago, with Bournemouth the next opponents on Thursday morning.

United then take on Everton in Atlanta before heading home for one Old Trafford friendly ahead of the new season.

Fiorentina visit Manchester to face United on Saturday, August 9, as they gear up for the new Serie A campaign.

Fiorentina name squad to face Manchester United

Stefano Pioli’s side are already in England and are training at St. George’s Park, the home of England’s national team.

La Viola will play three friendlies against English opposition, first taking on Leicester City and Nottingham Forest before facing United.

Fiorentina have confirmed their squad for the trip to England, with former United stopper David De Gea included.

The Spaniard spent a year out of the game after leaving United in 2023, but a move to Fiorentina allowed him to rejuvenate his career.

De Gea will now make his first return to Old Trafford and will hope to inspire a Fiorentina win at his old stomping ground.

Winger Riccardo Sottil has been left out, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that Leeds United have made a move to sign the Italian.

Other notable names in the squad include former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko and recent United target Moise Kean.

Manchester United target Pietro Comuzzo included

United are very aware of another player in the Fiorentina squad, with defender Pietro Comuzzo included in Pioli’s team.

The 20-year-old defender has emerged as a rising star in Serie A, and will now have a chance to shine at Old Trafford.

Tuttomercatoweb claim that United are showing a strong interest in signing Comuzzo this summer and are rivalling Sunderland as well as Nottingham Forest.

United In Focus understands that United have tracked Comuzzo, but a move to the Premier League this summer is unlikely as things stand.

United will have a chance to watch Comuzzo up close next month, though, and an impressive display may just tempt Ruben Amorim and Ineos into making a late move.
