Ian Wright and Roy Keane both dropped their clear-cut verdicts on Manchester United and Manchester City being linked with Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson.
Elliot Anderson impressed at Old Trafford at the weekend after his impact in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old England international chalked up his first assist after Morato headed home a second-half equaliser for Forest from a superb Anderson-delivered ball.
Anderson’s influence was on full display later in the second half after the Manchester City-linked midfielder picked up another assist by setting up Morgan Gibbs-White.

Roy Keane asked if Man Utd should make a transfer move for Nottingham Forest and England midfielder Elliot Anderson
Elliot Anderson has been heavily linked with Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window, with Manchester City also showing interest in him.
The Three Lions international has been tipped to leave City Ground in the summer, despite Nottingham Forest being keen to keep hold of their prized midfield asset.
Forest are expected to hold out for a transfer fee in excess of £100m for Man Utd-linked Anderson, who is out of contract with the Premier League club until 2029.
Roy Keane does think that United should move for Anderson in the summer, but he firmly believes that the Red Devils should not pay more than £100m for him.
“You [Gary Neville] say all out for him,” he responded on The Overlap’s Stick to Football podcast, before adding: “Well, look, £70million [to] £80million.
“I know. Yeah, I’d understand that. Yeah, but if you’re talking about £100m or £125m, all that crazy money, I’d be like, ‘Hold on a second.’
“But if you’re talking about £60m or £70m, yeah, you’d have to be you’d have to be interested in him.”

Ian Wright thinks Man Utd should throw the kitchen sink in their bid to sign Elliot Anderson ahead of Man City
Ian Wright believes that the Red Devils should invest in a top-quality midfielder this summer and Forest and England ace Anderson is a prime transfer target for them.
“Man Utd should go try and make sure that they get him,” he said.
“Especially with… It’s exciting now with Michael [Carrick] signing and everything. Good luck to him [Carrick] and that, but if they get it right with the right players, United […].”
The Arsenal legend added: “What, you want to pay for him? If you’re United and you needed that kind of midfield for so long and Man City are trying to take him off you, then you’ve got to go where you’ve got to get him.
“I’d pay for him. I’d pay for him.”
Anderson has made 49 appearances across all competitions for Forest this season and the England midfielder has netted four times and registered five assists.
