Manchester United’s club officials are now ‘portraying’ a certain type of picture around the situation involving England forward Marcus Rashford, according to stunning reports.
Marcus Rashford is currently away with England for this summer’s World Cup, but there is noise around the 28-year-old Three Lions star’s future at Old Trafford.
The ex-Barcelona and Aston Villa ace is believed to want a move away from Manchester United after his permanent transfer to the Camp Nou collapsed.
Rashford is under contract with Man Utd until 2028 and has spent loans at both Aston Villa and Barcelona after his falling out with Ruben Amorim back in 2025.

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford netted 14 times and registered 14 assists during his 49 matches on loan at La Liga side Barcelona during the 2025-26 season.
Despite impressing at the Camp Nou in the previous campaign, including lifting the La Liga trophy, Barcelona opted not to make Rashford’s move permanent in 2026.
Rashford is now on the hunt for a new club after Barcelona signed Three Lions winger Anthony Gordon from Premier League side Newcastle in late May.
According to BBC Sport, Man Utd’s ‘club officials’ have been trying to create a ‘sense of calm’ around any uncertainty involving the future of Rashford at the club.
The outlet pointed out that time is on the side of United, including there being seven weeks before the first match of the new season and nine weeks until the window closes.

Michael Carrick has refused to shut the door completely on Rashford being brought back into the United first-team fold after the England star’s time away from the club.
Rashford, who is a key part of Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup plans with England, has continued to receive transfer interest since his move to Barcelona was scuppered.
The United attacker has been linked with the likes of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli, while Tottenham have shown a desire to sign Rashford.
Rashford’s loan deal with Barcelona expired at the end of June after the Spanish champions opted not to trigger his £30.3m permanent transfer option this summer.
