While Marcus Rashford fired England to victory over Wales, his Manchester United teammate Harry Maguire was just as impressive in defence.
Maguire along with Luke Shaw, kept a clean sheet in the 3-0 win, with Rashford netting twice in the second half.
The centre-back played all 90 minutes, while United teamamtes Rashford and Shaw were both given a rest as they were substituted in the second half.
Maguire is a must-start in England’s defence, thriving despite a struggle to hold down a place for Manchester United this season so far.

Maguire’s individual performance was impressive again. He completed more passes (77) than any England player against Wales.
He had 92 touches in total, which included blocking one shot, making one interception, and three clearances. He also won two of two aerial fuels he competed for.
The 29-year-old posted on Instagram after the game to celebrate England’s progress to the World Cup last 16.
He received a response from Manchester United striker coach Benni McCarthy.

McCarthy also praised Marcus Rashford for his brace, responding ‘Brilliant Rashy’ on his Instagram post.
Rashford has become the first Manchester United player since Sir Bobby Charlton in 1966 to score three goals for England at a major tournament.
