Harry Maguire was one of the very best Manchester United players on Sunday during the derby day win.
The Ruben Amorim era had its first big moment on Sunday.
Manchester United claimed a dramatic come-from-behind win which was much deserved and the game even featured a 91st-minute winner from the sensational Amad Diallo.
Amorim’s United deserved the win, which could be a watershed moment for the rest of the campaign.
Along with Amad, another top performer was Manuel Ugarte who dominated Man City. While Harry Maguire was also a standout.

Harry Maguire says Ruben Amorim has already proved one thing
Despite plenty of criticism over the years, Harry Maguire continues to be a consistent performer for United and deserves a lot of praise for his displays over the years.
Maguire – even without the armband – is a leader on and off the field, and speaking to NBC after Sunday’s win Maguire has given his verdict on Amorim.
“You can see we have a good structure, a good style of play, the way that he wants us to work,” Maguire explained.
“He is tactically very good. He’s proven that he’s a winner.”
Maguire arguing that Amorim has proven himself to be a winner is something most United fans can agree on, especially after the derby triumph.
Being a winner is a massive positive for Amorim, as it was one thing lacking under the prior manager.
What Manchester United squad think of Amorim
Maguire did not only praise Amorim’s winner mentality and the football he is implementing but also suggested excitement over the future under the 39-year-old.
“We’re still pretty new”, Maguire began.
“He’s been with us a month now, and we are really looking forward to seeing where we can go and where he can take this club, and I’m sure he will take it in a positive way.”

This future that Maguire mentions may yet still have a place for the once £80m man, with his form under Amorim presenting a strong argument for him to get a new contract.
His current deal expires in June, and with Amorim likely evaluating his squad right now, keeping Maguire for another year or two could be a move favoured with both Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof likely to leave.
