It is no secret Manchester United are short of options at full-back right now and Erik ten Hag is considering all possibilities.
It feels like Manchester United are back in September right now. Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are injured, along with Tyrell Malacia. Only this time, there is no on-loan Sergio Reguilon.
Manchester United’s best available left-back is right-back Diogo Dalot, who sadly cannot split himself in two over 90 minutes.
It’s no surprise then to see Erik ten Hag and his coaching staff taking a look at the younger options in the academy.

Habeeb Ogunneye in training
16-year-old left-back Harry Amass trained with the first team on Thursday, and there was another young player in the mix too.
Right-back Habeeb Ogunneye was in the mix, with the defender sharing a picture on his Instagram feed.
If Erik ten Hag were to call Ogunneye up for a debut, this would give him the flexibility to shift Dalot over to the left side.
At this stage, Ten Hag is likely just taking a look at the youngster, rather than making immediate plans to draft him in. But clearly, the full-back dilemma is not going away any time soon, and if Dalot were to get injured, then it is real trouble.
Who is Habeeb Ogunneye
Habeeb Ogunneye, 18, is a London born defender who made his Manchester United under-18s debut against City three years ago, when he was just 15.
He then provided an assist on his first ever start for the under-18s, before going on to sign a professional contract.
He has since played in the UEFA Youth League, FA Youth Cup, and made his under-21s debut at the start of this season.
Ogunneye has represented England at under-17s level, and is also eligible to play international football for Nigeria.
This season the young right-back has made 17 appearances in total across academy competitions for Manchester United so far.
