Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim watched on as his side suffered a torrid 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United fans arrived at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon after a mixed week.
Beating Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium was a huge boost for Ruben Amorim but the buzz only lasted a few days.
United lost 4-3 at Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night, crashing out of the EFL Cup in the quarter-finals.
Sunday’s clash with Bournemouth wasn’t much better, as United lost 3-0 to the Cherries at Old Trafford for the second season in a row.
Dean Huijsen, former United target Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo all found the net for Bournemouth, handing Amorim his third Premier League defeat in the last four outings.

Gary Neville message to Ruben Amorim
Amorim won’t be panicking just yet and nor should United fans.
This is a long-term project and Amorim needs time to get United on the right track – just as he did with Sporting.
Former United defender Gary Neville has now offered his view United’s struggles and Amorim’s thought process.
Speaking on the Gary Neville Podcast, Neville suggested that there will be a ‘big overhaul’ in the United squad.
Neville added that Amorim simply cannot change his tactical approach and begged him to remain firm on his system.
Neville feels Amorim needs to stick to his 3-4-3 and build around that system, offloading anybody who doesn’t fit into those tactics.
The former defender added that United must empower Amorim and back him completely after a hot-and-cold start to life in the Old Trafford dugout.
“It’s going to take two or three transfer windows but the next two, January and the summer are very important and I think there’s going to be a big overhaul,” said Neville.
“One thing Ruben Amorim said from day one is he’s not changing his idea. He reiterated and reaffirmed that point time and time again, so he can’t do that now. Please don’t do that, I know he won’t, but don’t do that.
“You play your 3-4-3, that’s how you play and he said he would not change his idea, so he’s got to stick with that and he said whoever does’t fit into it is ultimately not going to work, so that’s what he has to do.
“It’s not a system that Manchester United have ever played but it’s what this manager does and you have to believe in the manager, you have to empower the manager at a football club to pick the team, to pick the system, that’s the reason he’s there,” he added.

Rio Ferdinand appears to agree
Amorim made it clear when he arrived that he would stick to his methods and ideas in his time as United boss.
We certainly can’t imagine seeing Amorim switch away from that 3-4-3 setup from his time at Sporting and one of his early interviews has now re-emerged.
Amorim suggested after drawing 1-1 at Ipswich Town that United need to ‘suffer a little bit’ early on in order to learn his methods for the future.
Amorim felt that United would be in a similar struggle next year without going through pain now and former United defender Rio Ferdinand has reposted that interview on Monday, simply stating ‘facts’.
It’s clear that United’s former stars are backing Amorim to turn things around if given time and don’t want him to chase quick fixes; they want him to make United a better side in the long term and are ready to go through the lows to eventually – and hopefully – reach a high.
