Manchester United are riding a crest of a wave after the team’s winning run continued with a derby victory over City at the weekend.
The Red Devils still sit in fourth place, one point behind City, level on Newcastle with one game in hand.
Arsenal are the problem, who are nine points ahead of United in first. A pivotal fixture away at the Gunners awaits next weekend.
Gary Neville‘s prediction for the end of the season is likely to upset the Gooners, as he predicts Manchester United will finish above them.

Gary Neville predicts Manchester United’s final Premier League finishing position
Speaking to Sky Sports, Neville set out his prediction for the way the end of the season will pan out.
He said: “They (Arsenal) won’t win the league, Manchester City will win the league, and I think Manchester United will finish second, and I know that will annoy Arsenal fans.
“I’d rather have Arsenal win the league than Manchester City. I think it will be absolutely sensational for the Premier League.
“We’ve seen City sweep up apart from Liverpool in five years, to think Arsenal could come through and win it, it adds to our league.
“Of course I’d love Manchester United to come and win it, but that I don’t think is going to happen this season.
“The reality of it is I think City will at some point hit a run, they have got to play Arsenal twice.”
He added that it is ‘not conceivable’ that Arsenal’s run will continue, and that their lead will soon ‘evaporate’.
Manchester United could have a big hand in that next week, it is crucial for the Red Devils to get a win over the Gunners at The Emirates next Sunday.
It’s hard not to get a tiny bit carried away and dream that United could win it. But it’s also important to remember that this was not even thought of as a remote possibility at the start of the season.
Just to be in the mix, at this point, is a positive feeling, and with just 18 of 38 games played, we are not even at the halfway point.
