Manchester United legends Roy Keane and Gary Neville both agreed on who will win Euro 2024 in Germany, with Ian Wright and Jamie Carragher naming their picks.
Several first-team United players are expected to represent their countries at UEFA’s tournament next summer, including Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay.
Euro 2024 is only six months away and the draw for the competition was held earlier this month, with host nation Germany to play Scotland in the opening match.
England boss Gareth Southgate will be hopeful of avenging his side’s Euro 2020 heartbreak by leading the Three Lions to major silverware on the international stage.
The Three Lions, who lost to Italy on penalties in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley, have been placed in Group C alongside Slovenia, Denmark and Serbia.
Germany are in Group A alongside Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland, while France have been drawn into Group D with the Netherlands, Austria and a play-off winner.

Wright and Carragher’s predictions for Euro 2024 winner
Southgate’s current England contract runs until December 2024, but the Three Lions manager’s long-term future remains shrouded in mystery ahead of Euro 2024.
The 53-year-old led England to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, but Southgate has still been unable to end the Three Lions’ long-running trophy drought.
The expectations are huge for Southgate going into Euro 2024 due to the stacked talent in his England squad, including former United target Jude Bellingham.
Speaking on The Overlap, Wright believes that Southgate’s England side could finally lift their first piece of major silverware at Euro 2024 since the 1966 World Cup.
Despite claiming that France are the “favourites,” Wright stood firm by his pick of England and Liverpool legend Carragher also went for the Three Lions.
“You know something, France have to be the favourites, but you know what, I’m gonna say England,” Wright said on the Stick to Football show.
“I’m gonna say England because we’ve been so close and I think this is probably the real, last go at it.”
Keane and Neville’s predictions for Euro 2024 winner
Both Keane and Neville snubbed England as their Euro 2024 winner, with the United legends opting for 2022 World Cup finalists France.
Responding to Wright, Neville admitted that Real Madrid star Bellingham could be the difference for England at the tournament, which runs from June to July.
However, the Sky Sports pundit couldn’t overlook the stacked France team and pointed out Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe’s ‘freakish’ ability.
“I wanna say England, Wrighty, and I swear I so hope that they win it, but honestly, I just feel that somehow, that knowhow and that getting over the line follows you around a little bit,” Neville said.
“And I just don’t know what the difference is this time. Could it be Bellingham, maybe? In the sense of the form he’s in now.
“I just feel that France, the somehow, the knowhow, their game management, their big moments, I just feel like you’re not gonna beat them.
“You say [William] Saliba’s a sub, do you know what I mean? Mbappe’s a freak, I know that [Kyle] Walker does well against him, so…”
