Manchester United gave their verdict on the European Super League as news surfaces that it could be now back on.
The European Super League could still be going ahead, following the judgement by the European Court of Justice given today. They suggested that FIFA and UEFA acted unlawfully in blocking the breakaway of the competition, meaning things could get back underway.
Manchester United, thankfully, immediately responded to the proposal with a club statement, indicating that they still want no part in the breakaway competition.

Gary Neville gives his verdict on European Super League
Gary Neville, former Manchester United right-back, is one of the most vocal past players who remains a United fan out there.
It was always going to be something he would comment on, and he took to X today to issue an immediate response on the matter.
Neville’s message was in response to Sky Sports’ post, which had a video from A22 Sports – the company behind a new European Super League – who were unveiling their new format proposal for the European club competition.
Neville simply responded: ‘No thanks.’
Rio Ferdinand in agreement
Former centre-back and Neville’s teammate Rio Ferdinand is also a player ever-present in the social space.
He agreed with Neville by praising Manchester United’s club statement in response to the proposal. Ferdinand also responded with a two-word message: ‘Acting swiftly.’ The clapping emojis that followed also indicate Rio is definitely in agreement with both Neville and the Red Devils’ choice.
It seems that, for once, everyone agrees at Manchester United.
The club don’t want it, the fans certainly don’t and even club legends have made their views clear. The European Super League won’t be featuring Manchester United any time soon.
Other clubs have since followed suit, meaning hopefully the madness will be put to an end once again.
