One year on from his move to Manchester United, look out for Enzo Kana-Biyik.
In July 2025, Manchester United completed a deal many fans might have missed. French teenager Enzo Kana-Biyik joined from Le Havre, and was immediately sent out on loan to partner club Lausanne Sport.
Kana-Biyik was joined mid-season by another Manchester United loanee, Sekou Kone.
Kone appears set to continue with Lausanne. He played in a friendly match for the Swiss side over the weekend and is part of their pre-season plans.
There is no confirmation of a second loan move yet, but the door is being kept open for Kone to stay there in 2026/27 and find some consistency.
Enzo Kana-Biyik was not involved for Lausanne and has left the club.

Prove me wrong… Sekou Kone will end up being a brilliant signing for Manchester United
Agree or disagree?
Enzo Kana-Biyik latest
In mid-May, Enzo Kana-Biyik was listed among a group of four loan players Lausanne wished a thank you and goodbye on social media.
The post read: “FC Lausanne Sport would also like to warmly thank the players who have evolved this season in the form of loan for their professionalism, involvement and contribution to the club’s season.”
France under-19s international Kana-Biyik was one of four players tagged and pictured in the post.
Kone was not included, which was a prelude to the scenario of him sticking around for another season.
As it stands, Kana-Biyik is set to report to Carrington for his first pre-season with Manchester United.
Will Sekou Kone earn a Manchester United first-team chance while at Lausanne?
What would he have to do in order to guarantee his place next season?
Kana-Biyik plans yet to be clarified
It is presently unclear whether Enzo Kana-Biyik will report to train with Manchester United’s first team or with the under-21s.
The young striker has been playing first team football with Lausanne last season, featuring in the Swiss top flight and the Europa Conference League.
He scored one first team goal and also notably provided an assist against Fiorentina.
Mostly though, Kana-Biyik featured from the bench and his low goal total saw his first team chances dry up. It was a difficult loan.
It might now do him good to spend a few months with Manchester United’s coaching staff and academy.
Having played first team football already now, he could excel for the under-21s this season and start to make a name for himself.
And that journey begins with a big statement in pre-season.
