Five facts about Manchester United transfer target Nikola Milenkovic

Jose Mourinho took a personal scouting mission to watch Nikola Milenkovic in action for Serbia on Thursday.
The Independent report Mourinho is keen on Milenkovic, with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic also catching the eye.
It’s about time then, to get familiarised with the potential United signing.

Here are five facts about Nikola Milenkovic..
1 – Milenkovic turned 21 this week and is in his second season in Italian football after signing for Fiorentina in 2017 for a bargain £4 million.
2 – Milenkovic is a centre-back and captained former club Partizan Belgrade when he was just 19.


3 – The youngster started all three games for Serbia at the World Cup, taking on Costa Rica, Switzerland and Brazil.
4 – Milenkovic has inevitably been compared to countryman and former United great Nemanja Vidic, but according to ESPN, he bases his playing style on Gerard Pique.

5 – The Serbian has started chipping in with goals too this season. Already he has two in eight games, a worthy contribution from a centre-back.
