The first images of Benjamin Sesko training at Carrington have emerged, with the £66 million signing gearing up ahead of his potential debut.

Air Sesko ready for launch

Benjamin Sesko is renowned for his aerial ability and this was on full display in the first training session.

The Slovenian powerhouse was pictured working on his heading, and it was clear he was not holding back at all, with his famed leap on display.

Another action shot showed Sesko going full-tilt with a diving header, laying it all out there to make a big impression on his new teammates and coaching staff.

Sesko is a player Manchester United have been chasing for six years, and he is now ready to take on this new challenge in his career.

Manchester United beat competition from Newcastle for his signature. The striker is now battling to earn a spot in the team ahead of Sunday’s Premier League opener against Arsenal.

United are claimed to be considering arranging a behind closed doors friendly fixture for Sesko and other teammates to get up to speed.

Manchester United get double training boost

Benjamin Sesko’s presence in first team training was not the only boost for head coach Ruben Amorim in the session.

Sesko was also joined by Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee and goalkeeper Andre Onana, both returning to training with the first team group.

Both players missed all of pre-season with injuries, and aim to be available for selection in the opener.

Amorim is expected to be more cautious with Zirkzee due to having multiple attacking options, but Onana could go straight into the starting line-up against the Gunners.
