Paul Pogba has signed for Manchester United twice and left twice on free transfers. Do not expect a third attempt.
Manchester United’s most expensive ever signing Paul Pogba is looking forward to resuming his career next year after being cleared by FIFA.
Pogba is hoping to play at the highest level possible and does not plan on quitting European football to play in Saudi Arabia or the United States.
The Frenchman is known for his technical ability in midfield and he used his evasiveness to dodge a loaded question in a Sky Sports interview.

Paul Pogba exchange over Manchester United return
Paul Pogba was interviewed by Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, who began asking which level he wants to play at, before trying to ‘twist’ his words into a line over a Manchester United return.
A transcript of the interview is the best way to fully explain their exchange, and it can be read below…
Solkehol: “Do you think those options [Saudi Arabia or USA] are for later in your career?”
Pogba: “What do you mean level?”
Solkehol: “Do you think you could still be playing, you know, for for a top side in the Premier League, for instance? Could you, could you play from Manchester United now?
Pogba: “Yeah, I hope so. I hope so. This is the dream I hope so but you have to…
Solkehol interrupting: “You would really go back to Manchester United?”
Pogba: “No, no twisting. You are twisting the question. I tell you, I’m wiser. I’ve changed. You can’t trick me anymore.
“[I’m] meaning the level that I want to be, obviously, I don’t want to lose the level that I’m at, and if I can surpass it, that will be, that will be, for sure, that is, this is what I want, but my level. I don’t want my level to change.
“I am still the same player with a different hunger. I’m more motivated, more and more hungry. And I will, for sure, appreciate, more the game, then then before.”
Credit to Pogba
Credit to Paul Pogba for twigging the line of questioning that had begun and shutting it down before he could walk into saying the wrong thing.
Pogba has had plenty of experience with this, and has finally cracked it.
During his time at Manchester United, Pogba would routinely infuriate fans with comments made while on international duty, where he was invariably asked about a potential move to Real Madrid.
Willingly or not, Pogba managed to always say enough to generate a transfer-suggesting headline. Perhaps he wanted it to.
This time Pogba was able to ensure that a potential Manchester United return does not become genuine topic of discussion.
He does not want to go down that route again, and nor would Manchester United. We wish him well in his comeback elsewhere.
