Manchester United have an ever-increasing list of young talents at the club right now.
Both U21 and U18 levels are now stacked with options for Manchester United, and even below these levels, there are wonderkids showing promise.
Harry Amass is the most notable right now, following the sublime pre-season he has had over in the United States.
But there are several who impressed during the earlier moments of this summer’s tour, and one of these names was Ethan Ennis who looks to be building some momentum after his injury struggles.
Now, he has signed a new contract with the club ahead of an important season for the 19-year-old.

Ethan Ennis sends a message after signing new Manchester United contract
Ennis has finally confirmed that he has signed a new contract – after weeks of speculation and reports stating that he would do so.
Taking to Instagram, Ennis wrote a message along with a picture of him and Travis Binnion and the new contract.
“Proud feeling for me and my family to sign a new deal @manchesterunited. Looking forward to the season ahead. The hard work continues!”
After Ennis’ message, he received multiple replies from his United teammates.
Among these was Amass as he left a heart emoji, meanwhile Shea Lacey commented with a clapping emoji.
Maxi Oyedele also replied, commenting: “Love it the boy”. Meanwhile, Tyler Fredricson added: “Top from you”.
Finley McAllister added: “Yesssss mate”.
There were plenty more comments with the majority being just emojis – but it is great to see Ennis’ teammates supporting him.
Ennis needs a full season of fitness
The Runcorn-born forward only returned from his cruciate ligament injury during the season – and after that struggled to remain in the U21 team often.
When Ennis joined he was a top talent which has us desperate to see him put a run together for Binnion’s side this coming season – especially after he impressed for United against Rosenborg.
Ennis shone during the second-half performance as he completed 100% of his passes, four dribbles and defensively made himself a nightmare for the Norweigan side – winning seven duels, four defensive actions, recoveries and two interceptions.
If Ennis can stay fit, there is no reason he cannot put himself back in conversations as one of the academy’s biggest talents. He just needs to avoid injury.
Alternatively, considering his age, he could thrive from being handed a loan move this season with first-team football far more beneficial than academy games.
