Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho seized his opportunity at the weekend with a memorable performance.
Amid questions whether he was just an impact player from the bench, or a starter, Alejandro Garnacho provided an emphatic response at the weekend.
The Argentine scored a spectacular overhead kick, labelled as the ‘best ever’ by Gary Neville, an illustration of the magic he is capable of.
Just to try it, shows his self-confidence and willingness to take a risk, a demonstration that he deserves to be in the team.

Alejandro Garnacho is ‘fearless’
Alejandro Garnacho’s special moment earned plenty of praise, including current players like Vinicius Jr, who reacted to his very rewatchable goal.
Former player Kieran Gibbs spoke to ESPN UK, praising Garnacho’s character and unpredictability.
He said: “You’ve got to play him. He’s fearless. United are having such a bad season you might as well just throw caution to the wind.”
He added: “I’ve been screaming for him to play.”
Garnacho benefitting from consistency
At that point Gibbs was shouted down, with it pointed out that Garnacho has been playing before this, however, not especially regularly.
This was Garnacho’s fifth Premier League start out of a possible 13, and just his third since August, as he did not start a single league game in September or October.
In November he has come back into favour, starting against Fulham and Luton, before this fixture away at Everton, and he seized his chance.
Garnacho is benefitting from consistency. You gain nothing from throwing him in for a couple of games, like at the start of the campaign, and then just dropping him when things do not go his way.
The youngster has demonstrated he is worth persisting with. The context of his overhead kick makes it so much more impressive, that he had not scored a league goal all season. What a way to break the drought, with Gibbs proven right, Garnacho really is fearless.
