Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho made a statement with his stunning goal against Everton.
Alejandro Garnacho scored the best goal of his career to lead the team to a 3-0 win away at Everton.
When you think of a perfect overhead kick, you will now think of Alejandro Garnacho’s wondrous strike against Everton.
The game was only in the third minute when Garnacho silenced the crowd, with a goal many are saying is better than Wayne Rooney’s famous one against City.

Reaction to Garnacho goal
There has been a stunning reaction to the teenager’s goal. Garnacho was asked whether it was better than Rooney’s and implied he was simply happy his could be compared to that famous strike.
He told MUTV: “I say it is very much like Rooney’s goal, I don’t know which one is better. Both are incredible goals.”
Garnacho marked his goal with a tribute to his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored a few like that himself, with the ‘Siuuu’ celebration.
There was quite a reaction on Instagram too, after Garnacho posted an image of his goal with the message, “God is great.🙏🏾❤️”
Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr responded, as did Rasmus Hojlund, and former loanee Marcel Sabitzer.

Garnacho benefits from break
Alejandro Garnacho did not travel with Argentina on the international break, left out of the squad this time around.
From United’s perspective, this worked out well, sparing him the travel time to South America and back, and the potential game time. It has given him a bit of a mental break too.
Garnacho sent a message with his performance though. Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni might not want to be without a player who can do that at any given moment.
