Erik ten Hag has provided an update on Christian Eriksen and Aaron Wan-Bissaka at his latest Manchester United press conference.
There is mixed news on the injury front. As we detailed earlier today, Christian Eriksen will NOT be in consideration to face former side Brentford.
However, the Dane is set to return to full training for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in late January.
Erik ten Hag told his press conference: “Not tomorrow. He is returning on the pitch, he is returning to team training today so we have to see how quick he can now make the progress.”
It is a positive step for Eriksen to rejoin his teammates. Hopefully he may be in contention to make the squad to face Everton this weekend, but let’s see.

Wan-Bissaka set to return
There is good news over Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The right-back travelled for the Newcastle game but did not make the matchday squad after suffering illness.
Erik ten Hag confirmed he is set to rejoin the squad and could be in contention for the Brentford fixture.
He also discussed the competition at right-back with Diogo Dalot.
“He’s returning today in training. I think it is really close, competition between them.
“Maybe Aaron gives you a little bit more defending, Diogo gives you a little bit more offense.
“I have to say, they have both made progress in both areas.”
Manchester United host Brentford on Wednesday night, looking to get back on track in the race for the top four in the Premier League.
United were beaten 2-0 by Newcastle at the weekend, and the game is a chance for the players to exact revenge for the defeat to Brentford early in the season.
Casemiro is also suspended for the fixture. He is halfway through a four-game ban.
