Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai has been comparing some of the best players in world football, including one of Manchester United’s latest signings.

Ruben Amorim is still trying to assemble his best team at Manchester United. Results need to improve, with the Red Devils managing just two wins from their opening six Premier League fixtures.

Bryan Mbeumo won Player of the Month for August, while Benjamin Sesko scored his first goal for the club against Brentford. They will all be trying to have a greater impact on the team in the upcoming games after a slow start.

United are currently positioned 14^th in the Premier League, and they will be looking to get back to winning ways against Sunderland this weekend.

Dominik Szoboszlai rates Matheus Cunha higher than Eduardo Camavinga

Matheus Cunha joined United from Wolves in the summer, but he is still waiting to score his first goal for the club.

The Brazil international has made six appearances for United without making a single goal contribution (goal/assist).

However, Cunha had already proven himself in the Premier League before joining United, so Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai is aware of the ability he possesses.

Szoboszlai was asked to compare a list of different players when he picked Cunha over Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga.

It’s still early days for Cunha at United, but he has shown glimpses of brilliance. An improvement is expected once he settles into the team with his new teammates.

Cunha needs time in United’s revamped attack because he hasn’t had enough time on the pitch with Mbeumo and Sesko to warrant any criticism.

Hopefully, Cunha can get on the scoresheet against Sunderland.

Matheus Cunha faces Dominik Szoboszlai this month

The first game United fans look at when the fixtures are released each year is the first meeting against Liverpool.

United will travel to Anfield in the first game back after the October international break.

That means Cunha will take on Liverpool for the first time as a United player on October 19, when the Brazilian is expected to line-up against Szoboszlai.

Cunha has only managed to score once in eight meetings against Liverpool, although that strike did come at Anfield last season.
