Manchester United youngster Dishon Bernard made an impressive debut for Portsmouth at the weekend.
The defender was a deadline day signing for Pompey, one of 18 players currently out on loan from Manchester United.
He started for Portsmouth in their 1-1 home draw against Barnsley at the weekend, along with former United trainee Ryan Tunnicliffe.
Bernard played all 90 minutes for his new club, featuring at right-back, and his performance was praised by his manager.

Dishon Bernard’s solid debut saw him named in the League One Team of the Week by WhoScored.
He received a 7.6/10 rating, higher than any right-back in the division at the weekend; aided by making seven interceptions.
The defender has set himself a high bar, and his display was especially notable considering it was his first competitive game since last April with Hull City.
His last competitive start actually came last February, making it a full 12 months between starting a league game.
Bernard’s objective pre-game would simply be making it through 90 minutes. He did this, and managed to deliver an excellent display to make a positive impression at his new club.
The 22-year-old is looking to get his career back on track after injury prevented him going through a pre-season, and also denied a loan or permanent exit in the summer.
While it is difficult to see the young defender making it at Old Trafford, Bernard has succeeded in all three loan spells so far, also at Hull and Salford, and he can continue to grow his reputation at Portsmouth, a big club with a sizeable following.
This is a good opportunity for Bernard, and he has made a great start. Portsmouth are next in action on Saturday, away at Plymouth.
