Diogo Dalot has revealed the Manchester United squad are ‘very happy’ with the club’s new co-owners INEOS.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos Group completed the purchase of 27.7 per cent of Manchester United’s A shares on Tuesday and have now taken over football operations from the Glazer family.
The deal was struck back in December and the new director of sport Sir Dave Brailsford has been a regular presence at Carrington since.
More sweeping changes are expected at the club in the months and years to come but Diogo Dalot has explained the positive impact that has already been made.

In an exclusive interview with Goal, Dalot said: “It [INEOS] brought some different energy, which is always good when things are not going well.
“You can see around the place everybody was positive about it.
“They presented themselves to us with a lot of good energy and positive vibes for the future, so we were really excited to have them on board.
“So far we are very happy.”
A new era
There has been plenty of understandable positivity from United fans over the new investment into the club and the fact fresh faces are finally at the helm of the ship.
The Glazers are still the majority owners so it hasn’t been the dream outcome after 15 months of waiting for a new owner.
But it is a start. INEOS have extensive experience in elite sports and are finally looking to hire people with that same important background in key positions.
Omar Berrada has been snagged away from Manchester City to become the club’s new CEO and attempts are being made to bring in Dan Ashworth from Newcastle United as sporting director.
It’s great to hear the excitement from the fans for the new era is felt by the players as well. Now everyone can pull in the same direction.
