Crystal Palace are looking to acquire the services of Dean Henderson this summer, according to reports.
The English shot-stopper is definitely a player Erik ten Hag is looking to get rid of this summer. The arrival of Andre Onana firmly means that Henderson will be nowhere near the number one slot.
Due to this, it’s evidently clear that United should cash in on the 26-year-old whilst they can. Reports have stated that Nottingham Forest were the favourites to acquire his services.
However, now it appears they have competition in the form of Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace.

Dean Henderson wanted by Crystal Palace
According to The Sun, Dean Henderson is hot on Palace’s radar.
The Eagles have been told that Henderson is available on a loan-to-buy basis, with this confirming United want him out permanently.
It’s been said that Palace would only take the English keeper if the deal is right. They do have a chance of striking lucky, with Nottingham Forest apparently set to back away from targeting Henderson.

Erik ten Hag wants cash or a guarantee that he would move to Forest permanently if he played enough games this season. But that became a hard deal to broker.
Despite the interest, the deal will also be hard for Palace. However – they are actively trying to find a solution and have two loan spaces free.
Why this deal solves problems for both clubs
The mood around camp regarding the goalkeeper situation is tense to say at the least. Usual first-choice shot-stopper Vicente Guaita refused to play for the club in pre-season.
He has now been dropped from the squad entirely at the beginning of this Premier League season, meaning there desperate for someone to come in and take his slot.
As for Manchester United, they are still pursuing Sofyan Amrabat hard – but need funds, badly. Henderson would potentially relieve £15m of that fee.
A win-win for both sides.
