Manchester United legend David Beckham has been hailed by fans for ‘keeping it real’ after serving Victoria Beckham a slice of humble pie over her “working class” routes.
Victoria, also known as ‘Posh Spice’ during her Spice Girls heyday, was challenged by her husband when she opened up about her upbringing on Netflix’s documentary.
“We’re very, very working class,” she told the interviewer, before her husband opened the door and interjected in the conversation.
Beckham told the Spice Girls star to be “honest,” which was initially met with protests from the 49-year-old fashion designer.
“What car did your dad drive you to school in?” Beckham asked.
Victoria hit back at Beckham by saying that it was “not a simple answer” amid his persistence, adding that it “depends” before finally answering the question.
“OK, in the [1980s], my dad had a Rolls-Royce,” she said.
Beckham responded with a simple “thank you” before slipping his head out of frame and closing the door behind him, leaving Victoria speechless at the end of the clip.

Beckham’s life on full show
Netflix’s four-part documentary on Beckham has offered fans plenty of insight into the ex-United and Real Madrid superstar’s life both on and off the pitch.
Beckham has spoken openly about his time at United and the Inter Miami co-owner and president described Sir Alex Ferguson as a “father figure” to him.
“The way he was with me from a young age was special,” he said.
“He was one of the most important people in my life from the age of 12. It was a family and that’s why we had the success that we had.”
Ferguson admitted that Beckham’s celebrity success was “different to what I wanted” and it became “more difficult” to keep his former player’s feet on the floor.
