New images of Manchester United’s third kit were released last week to a quite terrible reception.
Fans online were quick to berate the black and white striped kit, with the zebra-style pattern looking like an eyesore.
Enter David Beckham. If there is a man who can make anything look good, it is United’s former number seven.
Beckham proved this, with a new picture posing with United’s new kit.
One change Beckham made to the pictures posed by models last week, was that he ditched the black and white shorts, replacing them with black jogging bottoms.
The black and white zebra shorts were the worst part about the kit as they were too distracting. Plain black ones could make the top redeemable.
There is a chance this kit still looks like a total mess when the players are wearing it in action, but as Beckham showed here, it may not be a total lost cause.
And if Jadon Sancho is pictured wearing it, nobody will have a negative word to say.
