Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag remains under pressure despite avoiding defeat against both Porto and Aston Villa.
The second international break of the season is here and this is a great time to take stock of Manchester United’s season so far.
The Premier League table doesn’t look too great with Untied sitting 14th after just two wins in the first seven games.
United have also scored just five goals in those seven league games with Erik ten Hag comes under increasing scrutiny.
The Europa League has been a struggle too with United only managing draws against Twente and Porto.
That leaves Ten Hag under huge pressure and others managers have been linked with taking the United hot seat.

Luke Littler on Erik ten Hag
Pundits and former players have had their say on Ten Hag and Luke Littler has now joined in.
The darts sensation is a boyhood United fan and got his wish over the summer as the club snapped up Matthijs de Ligt.
Speaking to BBC Radio Manchester, Littler admitted that he actually agrees with Ten Hag’s verdict.
The Dutchman has regularly suggested that this United team needs time and shouldn’t be judged just yet.
Littler agrees, suggesting that Ten Hag should be given at least until the end of the season to to turn things around.
Littler accepts that United have started slowly but believes Ten Hag can get results moving forward, clearly feeling that he should be backed rather than sacked.
“I agree with what he said,” said Littler.
“He said don’t judge us now, judge us at the end of the season. Obviously, it’s been a slow start and I agree, just judge us at the end of the season, whether we do well or whether we do bad.
“It’s a bad start, but I’m sure we can pick up from it,” he added before admitting that he would rather see United win the Premier League than win the World Darts Championship himself.
Littler was in action at the World Grand Prix on Monday evening, taking on Rob Cross in the first round.
Ten Hag future to be decided
This was built up as a pivotal few days for Ten Hag and, in truth, United fans are probably feeling even more confused than a week ago.
Pressure was mounting after United’s 3-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and defeats to Porto and Aston Villa could have left Ten Hag in trouble.
United avoided defeat in both games but didn’t win them either with both games highlighting different problems.
The draw at Porto saw United collapse after going in front and demonstrated some terrible defending.
Sunday’s draw with Villa was a tighter affair but United didn’t look too threatening going forward either.
Ineos will now decide Ten Hag’s future on Tuesday and we would be surprise to see him sacked, but that his job is even being discussed highlights the pressure facing him.
