Christian Eriksen has been pictured wearing his new Manchester United shirt as the Reds officially unveil the Danish playmaker.
The former Brentford man becomes Erik ten Hag’s second Manchester United signing with Lisandro Martinez set to become our third.

The 30-year-old joins Tyrell Malacia in becoming a new Red Devil and the Denmark international could make his debut in tomorrow’s behind closed doors friendly against non-league side Wrexham.

Eriksen, who has won league titles with Ajax and Inter Milan, will add quality, creativity and depth to our midfield and he showcased his influence during his brief spell with Brentford last season.
Speaking to the club’s website, Eriksen spoke about his excitement in pulling on the Reds jersey and playing in front of the Old Trafford faithful.
“It will be fun to see the fans in stadium,” he said. “The atmosphere in the stadium was very nice [when I played here previously]. It was a very, very good feeling and an impressive atmosphere.”
“[Matches at Old Trafford have] always been very good,” he said. “There have been some very tough games in between, but always good memories.
“It’s always been very special to play at Old Trafford. In general, playing against such a big club like Manchester United, there’s always something with it. Like I said, it’s going to be weird being on the other side.”

Eriksen also spoke in depth about the influence Ten Hag had on his decision and that after having conversations with the former Ajax manager his mind was set on a switch to the Theatre of Dreams.
“First of all, the football,” Eriksen said, when asked about why his preference was to come to Old Trafford.
“I mean, I’m a guy who wants to play football and I think, with the idea of the manager coming in and the ideas he had, and also with my conversations with him, I mean I could see myself playing football in Manchester.
“And, at the same time, it’s a very, very big club – if not the biggest. If you pronounce it anywhere, they know where it’s from, they know where the locals come from.
“It has a big history and it’s a nice feeling to be part of something that is that big in history.”

Asked further about how big Ten Hag’s influence was, the Dane answered: “Very. I want to come here to play football, I don’t come here just for the logo itself, I want to come here and play.
“Obviously, to speak with the manager and hear his ideas and have conversations with him on the football terms, was great and ideal for me to get the decision and the possibility of coming to Manchester United.
“I think my style of play hopefully fits in with his ideas and, hopefully, it’s something that will connect in a good and positive way,” he added.
“So, of course, his style of football, I think it suits me.”
