Manchester United are set to play a friendly match against Wrexham this week at Carrington.
The match against the non-league side owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will be behind closed doors without fans in attendance.
The MEN report the aim of the match is to help players get up to speed in terms of playing time ahead of the new season.
The friendly match is scheduled to be held on Wednesday and is not planned to be broadcast on MUTV.

Manchester United v Wrexham
The match was first intended as a chance for youth players to build up their fitness, with several young players only gaining limited game time on pre-season tour.
However, The MEN reports manager Erik ten Hag also wants to involved a handful of potential first team regulars.
New signing Christian Eriksen is named as a player who could feature in the match.
The Dane could start training for the first team later today (26/7) as he links up with his teammates for the first time.
United want to get Eriksen up to speed ahead of the start of the Premier League season, with United’s first match on August 7.
The club have two friendly matches this weekend, facing Atletico Madrid in Oslo on July 30 and Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on July 31.
