As the World Cup kicked off on Thursday, Javier Hernandez ‘Chicharito’ was wowed by one prospect who played for Mexico against South Africa.
One of the best things in football is back as the World Cup takes over the summer of football fans.
Manchester United will be looking out for talents at the tournament who could be breakout stars this summer and are worth making a move to sign.
One of the biggest wonderkids in the tournament was in action for Mexico as the competition kicked off, earning praise from Javier Hernandez.
What are your memories of Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez making his World Cup breakthrough in 2010?

Chicharito hails Gilberto Mora after his performance for Mexico
Gilberto Mora is Mexico’s golden boy and the youngest ever debutant, with his World Cup debut coming on Thursday night against South Africa.
United have been linked with signing Mora, and now club cult hero Hernandez has praised his young compatriot on his YouTube channel.
“Gilberto Mora came on, I believe he’s the second youngest player in history after Pelé.
“For Mexico, he’s the youngest player to play in a World Cup, 17 years and I don’t know how many days. He is an enormous talent. It’s great that he debuted, that they gave him minutes so he can loosen up and gain a lot of confidence.”
Hernandez is a legend of Mexican football, and for him to be so excited about Mora just goes to show the level of talent he has.
Perhaps Sir Alex Ferguson should be calling up Hernandez and getting him to have a word with Mora about moving to United. Rumours are that United are in the race with Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Mora signed a new deal with Club Tijuana in Mexico, which likely includes a release clause ahead of his big move once he has turned 18.

Gilberto Mora shines for Mexico in World Cup cameo
United watched Mora in the U20 World Cup back in October, and will certainly have been hoping to see how he fared in the senior version this summer.
Despite many assuming he would start this match, Mora was on the bench, emerging in the second half to play the last 30 minutes or so in the opening day victory.
It was a game lacking quality, with Mora coming off the bench and instantly looking like the most technically gifted player on the pitch.
He completed 14 of 14 passes he attempted, including one really impressive switch of play.
Mora completed eight carries, worth 80 metres. But his flaws were found defensively, as his small frame meant he was quite easily handled by the South Africans.
One duel won out of five shows this, and is something Mora is going to need to work on if he is going to make it in Europe.
But for a 17-year-old, there is no doubting his quality.
