Manchester United loanee Charlie Wellens has been pictured back at Carrington training with the first team.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan at National League side Oldham Athletic, but the right-back was training alongside Erik ten Hag’s first team yesterday.
Following the Red Devils’ 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon, the players who started the loss to the Villains underwent a recovery session.
While United’s other first team players carried out a full group session, which included Wellens, Noam Emeran, Shola Shoretire and the returning Di’Shon Bernard.

Wellens, son of former Manchester United player Richie Wellens, joined the Latics on loan until January in September.
The teenager scored a late winner for Oldham against Bromley back in September to ensure former manager John Sheridan got a winning send off.
Since former Everton defender David Unsworth took the reins at Boundary Park, Wellens has only started one game and that was the former Toffees Academy manager’s first game in charge of Oldham.
But since scoring his first professional goal, Wellens has been on the periphery under Unsworth and has played 34 minutes of football since being hooked at half-time in Unsworth’s first game in charge.

Playing in the fifth tier of English football in his first loan spell away from Manchester United, Wellens wasn’t part of Oldham’s squad who lost 3-0 away to Wrexham in Sunday’s FA Cup first-round tie.
In order to maintain match sharpness, Wellens has turned out for the Oldham B team in recent weeks.
Oldham were due to face to Gateshead at Boundary Park tonight, but that clash has been postponed.
The Latics are back in action on Saturday when Unsworth’s side host Barnet, and it’ll be interesting to see whether Wellens is back in the Oldham fold come then.
